Plant Protectors

In this tutor-led session learners will develop their understanding of topical science.

We will delve into the diverse job roles dedicated to nature conservation, including how a career in rocket science can benefit plants and what psychologists have to say about cutting your grass. Presented by the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and St Andrews Botanic Garden, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

This session is designed to reinforce and complement the Curriculum for Excellence, and depending on your classes level will focus on either SCN 0-20a, SCN 1-20a or SCN 2-20a. If there are particular themes you would like to emphasise, please let us know on the booking form, or arrange a chat with our Education Team.

Duration - Approximately 45 minutes

Cost Per Learner - £5.00 (Accompanying Adults - Free)

Age Group Suitability - This workshop can be delivered at Early, First or Second levels
