St Andrews Botanic Garden provides a unique outdoor learning environment to explore and learn through play whilst discovering more about the world around you!
Our programmes and learning experiences are designed to inspire learners, teaching practitioners, carers and families to get hands on with nature with opportunities to build skills and have new experiences through structured sessions and free play.

Little Oaks (for children who are walking, up to the age of 3 and an accompanying adult)
Come along and join our Little Oaks outdoor learning sessions designed to stimulate little ones with songs, stories, crafts and play throughout the seasons.
Grow your confidence with tips and tools for supporting your Little Oak to explore the natural world through play.
Little Oaks runs during term time, with a choice of Tuesdays 10:30 - 12:00 or Wednesdays 10:30-12:00
Session Price £7.50, which includes admission to the group for one child and accompanying adult, plus tea and coffee at the end of the session for adults.
Garden Explorers Club (6-12 year olds)
Our outdoor Learning Club ‘Garden Explorers’ provides opportunities for children to explore plants and wildlife through exciting activities including planting, wildlife surveys and crafts. Our members will also get active through games, gardening and orienteering whilst learning new skills and building confidence and relationships.
The club runs twice a month on a Saturday and is available as either a morning (10:30-12:00) or afternoon (13:00-14:30) session this year.
Price £8.50 per child.

Planet Botanic Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club provides a great space for kids to get active and enjoy nature-based learning during the school holidays. We have lots of exciting activities planned for this Summer including planting, pond dipping, wildlife walks, den building and campfires!
The club will run from drop off time of 9:30 to pick up at 15:30 every weekday throughout the holidays (Monday to Friday) and is suitable for kids aged 5-12 years old.
Price £35 per day.
