The Big Spring Bash - Sunday

Date: 26 March 2023 (12:00-16:00)

Taking place on the 25th and 26th March, The Big Spring Bash will be an action-packed celebration of spring, with interactive activities, workshops, live music and local food & drink - showcasing amazing creative projects and small businesses from across Fife!

We’re bringing together food vendors and musicians from across the Kingdom, so visitors can enjoy local food & drink while relaxing with live music stunning setting of our Wildflower Garden.

Each day will kick off with a fabulous Family Ceilidh from Ceilidh Kids, followed by an afternoon of live music from a great range of local acoustic musicians, including: Spencer Shek, Katie Nichol, Callum Gibson, RAAB and Gavin McGinty.

Our neighbour St Andrews Brewing Company will be providing our bar, featuring a great selection of their award-winning drinks - and we’ll also be welcoming Temptations Bakery and Fergie’s Kitchen for delicious sweet treats and street food!

All our visitors will be able to get hands-on with nature through activities from our team and Dundee Science Centre - see photosynthesis in real time, explore the wildlife in our pond and make your own seed bombs and rockets! Plus, visitors with little ones will also be able to explore our early years zone, packed with wildlife and science themed activities to help families explore nature together, led by Hollie Sutherland.

There’s the opportunity to get creative too - with artistic activities from Balgarvie WeavingCulross Yarn and our Artist in Residence Emma Varley! Or you can unwind between activities with Family Pilates from local instructor Carol Urquhart in our Meadow.

If that’s not enough, we’re partnering with Urban Market Dundee to host a Big Spring Bash Urban Market, featuring beautiful artwork and handmade gifts from artists and traders from our local area!

A huge thank you to the Fife Strategic Events Fund for their support for this event!

Please note that our ceilidh will start at 12:00 noon on Saturday 25th March, but to fit in our exciting schedule of activities, we'll be starting our ceilidh at 11:30am on Sunday 26th March - make sure to join us then!
