Description

St Andrews Botanic Garden wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and motived person to join the horticultural team for a three-month intern position over the summer. You will gain valuable practical training and experience of a range of tasks. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and to work with a diverse and extensive plant collection. This position presents an excellent opportunity for someone aiming to establish a career in professional horticulture.

Location

St Andrews Botanic Garden - St Andrews, Fife

Experience

The post holder will:

have some experience of practical horticulture
have good communication (oral and written) skills and an ability to work as part of a small team
demonstrate an eagerness to learn about horticulture, and a willingness to undertake new tasks and gain new skills

Status

Full time, fixed term for three month

Salary

£21,500 pa
