Plants, People, Place

Working at the interface between design, ecology and evolution means that we take a landscape scale approach to botany. Whether in upland woods or the Lade Braes, plants are adapting to changing conditions and we need to know more about the influences that people have on these changes and the ways that these plants influence people in exchange.

Working with communities locally, across Fife and beyond means not only taking a long-term approach to building relationships and trust but also that we are committed to providing support and inspiration through our education and engagement programmes. To find out more about our programmes, please look at the What’s On pages or get in touch if you would like to discuss new partnerships.

We don’t have the answers yet to the challenges we face, but we know where they are likely to be found: people coming together to make a difference.
