On Foot/Bike
The Garden is located on Canongate and is a 10 minute walk from the centre of St Andrews. The easiest route is to follow Viaduct Walk from the town, which brings you to Canongate. Viaduct Walk is a shared path for bikes and walkers. We have bike racks at the garden.
We are also accessible from the Lade Braes, and just off the Fife Pilgrim Way, between Ceres and St Andrews. You can get to the garden from the Lade Braes via Maynard Road.
By Public Transport
The 99C bus route goes past the Garden, to/from the town or to Dundee. It takes 5 minutes by bus from the bus station in St Andrews to the Garden. The bus is operated by Stagecoach, so for information on times and ticket prices please click here
The nearest train station for the garden’s is Leuchars, you can get the 99 bus from the train station to St Andrews and the Garden.
By Car
We have a free car park at the garden.
