Wildlife in the Garden Day

Come along for our Wildlife in the Garden Day on Saturday 15th October - part of our Autumn Festival, celebrating the wildlife we have on our doorstep!

Find out more about the animals that make their homes in the Garden and enjoy a fabulous family day out!

We’ll be joined by local organisations working to protect Scottish wildlife, sharing their work through exciting activities!

Froglife will be running pond dipping sessions from 10:30-2:30, on every half hour – find out more about pondlife and their work to conserve reptiles and amphibians.

We’ll be joined by the Fife & Kinross BTO, BTO Youth and RSPB throughout the day to explore birds through worm charming, quizzes and making bird feeders! There will also be the chance to find out more about seabirds with SOTEAG's Seabird Wall!

Butterfly Conservation Scotland will be revealing the fabulous autumn moths in the Garden with a moth trap activity.

And Fife & Kinross Bat Group and Fife & Kinross Wildlife Trust will also be sharing their work, with stalls and activities!

Free with standard Garden Admission for adults and £3 per child. Activities from 10am-3pm. Pre-booking strongly recommended!
